KEY DECK COMPONENTS
Removal:
Foul-Tongue Invocation:
Foul-tongue invocation is a great card in this deck. Acts as one half of a to the slaughter and gives me a bonus for having one of my dragons in hand. Not amazing, but good as a 2 of.
To The Slaughter:
A step up from foul-tongue invocation. Versatile for either a creature or a planeswalker, and when delirium is on it's awesome. Not running it as a 4 of only because delirium is a little bit tricky to attain delirium. Because of this I put it at a solid 3 of.
Anguished Unmaking:
Quality removal if I've ever seen any. The only problem is that you lose 3 life for using it, which is a pretty big downside. Would be a playset if not for the 3 life loss. Great 3 of.
Grasp Of Darkness:
Just... wow. This stuff is the bomb. Not much to say, just auto-4 of.
Ultimate Price:
Very similarly to grasp of darkness, this just destroys some strategies. You want to drop your 4/5 mindwrack demon? I'll just pay 2 mana at the end of my turn to kill it. Easy 4 of.
Dead Weight:
1 mana: kill Jace. That's pretty much the card. I would probably put more of these in at an earlier time, but Jace isn't as dominant right now so it's at a 2 of.
Sweepers:
Languish:
I love this card. I really do. Completely annihilates your opponent's board state if they're playing any deck with the word "company" or "humans" in it. Auto-4 of.
Planar Outburst:
I only included this as a 1 of because I can awaken it late game, and because I'm running shambling vent. All of my finishers are creatures, so this usually doesn't work out too well for me, but it's like a restart button except I have the upper hand since I don't have to rebuild the board state. Taking it as a 1 of.
Descend Upon The Sinful:
Pretty much the same as planar outburst, but I will chose this over it because of the delirium effect.
Finishers:
Dragonlord Ojutai:
This guy is incredible. Drop him on turn 5 and it's close to just over. 4 turn clock. Big flyer. I can just stall with him until I get my other finisher. Just awesome. However, he is legendary, so I'm running 3 instead of 4.
Secure The Wastes:
This is my other finisher. Great card to pump out on turn 10 on your opponent's end step. This is the 'in case ojutai doesn't work' card. Great addition to the deck.
