Standard Mono-Red Aggro

Standard Aggro Haste Mono-Red

Sideboard

This is just your standard "standard" mono red aggro deck. I added some MOM cards, but it is still an experiment. Monastery Swiftspear Bloodthirsty Adversary Phoenix Chick - Just classic staples for mono-red aggro. Kumano Faces Kakkazan   - Turn 1 Monastery into this and a second Monastery is a great line. You can also lead with this on Turn 1 into a Swiftspear on 2. Lots of synergy, and don't underestimate the flip sides gy hate. Very useful in the black dominated meta. Play with Fire Lightning Strike Strangle - Just classic burn spells, no explanation. Strangle is the most disposable, definitely a flex spot. Squee, Dubious Monarch - Love this card, and its recursion comes into play more often than you would think. Don't be afraid to attack into a bad trade, you can always bring it back if you have no better plays. Great activator for Phoenix Chick with the tokens. Feldon, Ronom Excavator - Nice card, more copies of Bloodthirsty Adversary at worst, and some good card advantage at best. It is a legendary creature, so running more than 3 is not recommended. Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance Mishra's Foundry - No downside to running Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance in a mono-red deck. Mishra's Foundry can seem clunky sometimes, but the ability to come back from a board wipe and still win is very crucial for such a fast deck. Upgrades from MOM Bloodfeather Phoenix - At worst a hastey 2/2 for 2 and its recursion is not irrelevant. Nahiri's Warcrafting - Great for refueling on gas, and a good replacement for Rending Flame as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse hate. Khenra Spellspear   - Kind of a test, but a threat if allowed to flip. Definitely a test card, and we'll see if it works. Stuff Missing No Mechanized Warfare because it has just been replaced. Taking turn 3 off to do nothing is not good enough anymore. Not a lot of effects like Reckless Impulse or Wrenn's Resolve because you are just trying to win before you need them. Battles don't really work in the archetype, unfortunately, because you never really want to attack the battle, just the opponents face. Not worth it, and never really a consideration. Sideboard isn't mine, and I just play best of ones so it's probably not gonna change.
