Eldrazi Descendants

Modern* Budget Eldrazi

Sivadius

Sideboard

So the idea is to use Descendants' Path to play eldrazi from the top of the deck. Smaller eldrazi can be created using Nest Invader and Blisterpod. These have the creature type 'Eldrazi', allowing Descendants' Path to play bigger ones such as Pathrazer of Ulamog for free.

This is all well and good, but relying on tone card alone is not very reliable. This is why I am also running Quicksilver Amulet as a way of getting the eldrazi that build up in the hand onto the battlefield. Summoning Trap is a sideboard card which can also be used to cheat out eldrazi if against blue.

Reason / Believe is a nice new addition allowing for consistency in draws and acting as another means of cheating out cards.

Updates Add

With the addition of some newer cards, the deck has been improved. The list no longer runs red, but in it's place has blue.

-4 Hand of Emrakul

-3 Ulamog's Crusher

-3 Woodland Changeling

-4 Brood Birthing

-3 Faithless Looting

-2 Awakening Zone

+1 Artisan of Kozilek

+4 Blisterpod

+4 It That Betrays

+1 Pathrazer of Ulamog

+4 Telling Time

+4 Reason / Believe

The manabase has also been restructured, but I don't think I need to list all those changes. One thing to note is the inclusion of Mutavault which is included even though it isn't a budget card. It works so well in this deck, and greatly improves it's potential. Another notable manabase inclusion is Halimar Depths which helps forge the top cards of the library.
