I made this deck because the holiday was coming up, and because I just got ahold of 4 Fleshbag Marauder and a 10 copies of Ghoulcaller's Chant. I'll be honest, there were so many cards I wanted to put into this deck but didn't. I eventually went for only a few different cards but heavy consistency. There are four copies of Distress for disruption, and the deck capitalizes off of enemy creature discards because it also contains Animate Dead, one of the oldest cards I own that is always worth playing. The deck also has an old old copy of Grave Pact from Stronghold, and a singleton copy of Moan of the Unhallowed, which I may change later.

I drew it up a few times to make it consistent, and it DOES work by starving the enemy of creatures through repeated casting of zombie/removal cards like Skinrender and Fleshbag Marauder.

I really only wanted to try to build a mono-black Zombies deck because of the one designed and played so effectively by my friend VorpalDerringer. I can't think of many single-color decks that I own. I play dual-color 90% of the time, I bet. I'm really suprised I'm playing a deck with 3 copies of Gravedigger. I think he might have given me some of his copies because he did not like the card. If he knew this deck used three of them instead of some other card, I'm sure he'd be rolling in his.... grave. XD
