Sideboard

Maybeboard

CEDH Krenko, Mob Boss. The sideboard has cards I own. Maybeboard has cards I want.

Maybe, the most important part of the deck. You must have at least 10 haste enablers that let you play Krenko on turn 4 (or before) with haste.

It's difficult to find good draw cards for a monored deck. You should have at least 8 draw cards. The best ones are Skullclamp (by far), Idol of Oblivion, Sensei's Divining Top and the wheels.

You must include at least 12 cards that let you cast consistently your commander.

Try to include between 10 and 12 removals, including both massive and target ones. Your only chance to deal with enchantments is Chaos Warp. Include some artifact removals. Some of the best ones are Goblin Cratermaker and Goblin Trashmaster.

Whenever you play Goblin Matron or use Moggcatcher's tap ability your first priority should probably be to get Goblin Recruiter. There's a reason it's banned in Legacy. Then when you reorder the deck you should probably have Goblin Ringleader on top followed by Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, then your choice of Lightning Crafter, Goblin Sharpshooter, Goblin Chieftain, Goblin Warchief, Goblin King, Goblin Trashmaster, Pashalik Mons, Legion Loyalist or Warren Instigator.

These are my reasons for excluding certain cards from this deck. I have decided to exclude Sword of the Paruns because in my opinion it just costs too much mana to be useful when it's not enabling an infinite combo. It costs 4 mana to play it which means you will almost always want to be playing it on turn 5 since you'll hopefully be playing Krenko, Mob Boss on turn 4. Then it costs 3 mana to equip it and 3 mana to activate its ability once which uses up all of your turn 6 mana as well. That's also assuming that you've played a land on each turn which is rare past turn 4. I have also decided to exclude Herald's Horn . I feel like Ruby Medallion and Goblin Warchief provide slightly better value and I think having 3 cost reducers in a deck with such low cmc cards can be a little bit redundant. The secondary effect is nice sometimes, but it only activates once per turn so it doesn’t really combo with anything. I couldn't find a spot for Vanquisher's Banner either. It has a relatively high cmc for this deck and the only immediate value it provides is a +1/+1 anthem for your goblins. Being able to have about a third of your deck replace itself is nice, but as with Herald's Horn it is difficult to combo off of. Finally Door of Destinies also just missed the cut. It's a good card and pretty much automatic for most tribal decks, but it provides little value on its own, needing other cards to make it do work. This deck wants to win as soon as possible and Door of Destinies just doesn’t provide as much of an instant win con as Coat of Arms or Shared Animosity do.

Don't forget to make good use of Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. He can recycle ETBs such as with Goblin Recruiter, Goblin Ringleader or Siege-Gang Commander, or recycle tap abilities such as with Moggcatcher or Goblin Sharpshooter, or create an infinite ETB/LTB combo with Lightning Crafter, or copy powerhouse goblins such as Goblin Rabblemaster or Goblin Piledriver, or even copy the goblin lords. Also, don't underestimate Grenzo, Havoc Raiser. His second ability can be very useful especially if you have Mana Echoes or one of the infinite mana combos.
