Before the world magic cup I had an idea to make a B/R Dragons deck, but I really didn't know where to start. I created a decent shell and then in the world magic cup, multiple teams were using this deck. I realized that my deck was so similar and I was playing it before anyone else. This is my current standard deck and I will be posting the results for each FNM each week. I am already working on this for pot-rotation, however the loss of Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury significantly weakens the deck, as he is the main win-con. Overall Record: 4-1(3rd Place)

Wow, after going 2-2 two weeks and a row going 4-1 was awesome! Unfortunately the Flamewake Phoenixes and Thopter Engineers didn't come so I basically played my old deck minus 2 Exquisite Firecrafts and Outpost Sieges. I did get to put in Hangarback Walker. He was the absolute MVP of the night and won me basically every game in some way. Also, I got 2 Foil-Full Art Lands from the packs I won and a Thought-Knot Seer. Would have preferred an expedition, but I'll take what I can get.

Also Note: There were over 20 people including the guy from Absolute MTG, people who have been to GP's, and people who have been invited to the PT.

Round 1:(2-0) Dark Jeskai

This was a very close game and this was a teacher of one of my friends and we play each other a lot. Usually it ends up with me winning 2-1 and he was considering the card Tears of Valakut for his SB, but decided not to use them because he wouldn't face me at FNM. However, he came up against me 1st round.

Game 1: The was a very close game, we both started with some early creatures in me with 2 Hangarback Walkers and him with a Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip and a Soulfire Grand Master. I purposefully revealed a Thunderbreak Regent for all my reveal cards instead of Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury. Then it came down my draw. I had about 5 thopters and a 2/2 Hangarback Walker. He had the typical Jeskai creatures out. I then drew into Pia and Kiran Nalaar and he was at 4. I then sacced a thopter to deal 2 to him. Next turn did the same and won.

Game 2: This was a slaughter fest. Anything he played I had removal and then I just started bashing in with Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury. He didn't draw any answers so I quickly picked up a win.

Round 2: Win (2-1) B/W/x Eldrazi

Game 1: I got run over by Thought-Knot Seers because I was stuck on 2 lands. I did manage to pull my way back but I forgot to leave mana up to kill Shambling Vent and he barely took the win.

Game 2: This was a good game because he boarded into aggro and fortunately I drew some good removal. He then was stuck on 3 lands and I beat him before he got his fourth with a pair of Hangarback Walkers each at 3 and a Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury.

Game 3: This was a close game, but I had answers for everything. He tried to exile my Hangarback Walker with Stasis Snare and I Fiery Impulsed it in response then went into Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury and just beat him down with Flyers.

Round 3: (Win 2-1) B/W Control

Game 1: This was the funniest way I have ever won, so I am gonna give you a play-by-play as to what we said

Me: Ok,pass Opp. Swing 5 with my tokens Me. Take 5 down to 5. Opp. Pass Me. End of my Turn, pump up Hangarback Walker to 4, then Delve 4 for Murderous Cut it. I get 4 thopters and you are at 4 with no blockers. Opp. Well, that it was one way to win.

Game: 2: He started with a Seeker of the Way and then started playing Read the Bones and just kept gain life with prowess and hitting me. I didn't draw removal in time and when he played Sorin, Solemn Visitor and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar It was over.

Game 3: Got the Pia and Kiran Nalaar into Thunderbreak Regent into Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury "combo" and took the game while he was playing his tap-lands.

Round 4: (Loss 2-1) Temur Black

Game 1: I Absolutely demolsished him with Hangarback Walker up to 5 and he killed it with a Woodland Wanderer and then I swung with Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury and killed him.

Game 2:I drew almost all lands the whole game and I just got beaten with Woodland Wanderers and lost

Game 3: Same as 2nd

Round 5: (Win 2-1) Mardu Green

Game 1: This was such a close game and we had so much removal it was hard to play anything unfortunately he drew into 3 Siege Rhinos and I just got beaten to death by rhino

Game 2: Self-Inflicted Wound won me the game, he played a Siege Rhino, then I hit him with Thunderbreak Regent then played Self-Inflicted Wound for the win.

Game 3: Hangarback Walker was played on turns 2-4, so I just sat there pumping them and then he killed them and I just swung with Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury FTW

Overall The deck performed spectacularly and I think that if the aggro version is better, I have a good shot at First Next week
