Maybeboard

Updated January 2019

As my local meta is extremely competitive, I am running more counterspells than I would normally prefer because I usually need an answer on turn 2 or 3. Generally, the aim of the deck is to ramp into a board wipe by turn 4 and get to 7 mana by turn 5 so that Scion of the Ur-Dragon can be cast with two mana open to protect itself. Another option is to play Dragon Tempest and Steely Resolve along with at least one ramp spell on turn 4 to allow Scion of the Ur-Dragon to come out on turn 5 with shroud and haste. Has the usual one-hit dragon kills Moltensteel Dragon + Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon or Dragon Tyrant and other synergies. Ended up pulling Crucible of Fire and Dragonspeaker Shaman because they were too slow and I did not usually want a critical mass of dragons on the board.

Most interested in ramp ideas that I'm missing, ways to even out or improve the mana base or ways to put dragons that I have in my hand but would never hard-cast back into the deck so that they can be tutored with Scion . Comments appreciated.
