So with the banning of Deathrite Shaman grave yard removal is pretty light on at the moment, so I was looking through my older rares and stumbled across Necrotic Ooze and got my brewing cap on.

I used to play a Seance deck in standard using Griselbrand plus Borborygmos Enraged as a kill condition and they conveniently are both activated abilities, Griselbrand would have to have one of the most powerful activated abilities on a creature in modern. Necrotic Ooze happens to be a very hasty Seance in this deck, which the aim is to win the turn you resolve Necrotic Ooze, or an Unburial Rites targeting Necrotic Ooze, although Griselbrand is a pretty good back up target for it.

I went searching through the internets and found very little on the little black 4 drop, save this thread http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/modern-deck-creation/491294-dredge-ooze-combo-competitive which has a list that my list ended up fairly close to.

Not much has been printed since then that aids the deck, with the possible exception of Prognostic Sphinx as in built protection. I am just not sure what to shave in order to fit it.
