After playtesting for a few weeks now (and a few days with the new rule change in effect), I've narrowed down the decklist to what I think is most effective:
I like to imagine this deck as Gideon and Bob (Dark Confidant) driving around in some cars causing a ruckus.
Gideon being the moral compass (white) and Bob being the troublemaker (black) - like on a TV police detective show.
Gideon is the main man here. The new planeswalker rules are in effect, so Gideon now has split personality. We can have up to four on the battlefield at a time with this deck, his alters identifying as:
2x Gideon Jura
Bob is the gas on the fire. That translates here into card draw and discard. Typically the fire can kill you, but with Gideon's trial emblem it is less of a concern. He is represented in the deck with:
2x Demonic Pact
3x Thoughtseize
4x Fatal Push
