Update: People will blow up Mortal Combat but there seem to be enough ways to recur it. Hope for the best it's not exiled, or worse, hope your graveyard isn't exiled after casting Traumatize a few times on yourself. Luckily there's not that much graveyard hate in my shop's meta....

Elixir of Immortality or something like Learn from the Past have been recommended, but I feel like that's admitting defeat and asking yourself to restart the game. I've also considered Laboratory Maniac as a Plan B but that might be more difficult to achieve. Sometimes you just gotta recognize you're chasing a silly dream.
