Sorcery (2)

Using the new Narset to make a classic UW Control archetype work in Standard.

So the control shell is straightforward: 26 lands, sweepers, spot removal for early stuff, and lots of card draw.

Notable differences to what I've been seeing in recent control decks:Jeskai Sage: For 2 mana blocks damage (pseudo-lifegain) and cantrips. Now, he's also a target for Ojutai's Command. I'm least convinced of this card than any other, so any thoughts on him--pro or con--would be helpful.

Ojutai's Command: Recurs Sage, counters creatures, draws cards, gains life in a pinch. Sign me up.

Narset Transcendent: She draws cards, gives over half the deck rebound, and starts at 6 loyalty. Have you ever rebounded a Dig through Time? I haven't, but I sure want to!

Pristine Skywise and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon serve as finishers.

Maybeboard So here, I'm thinking that the 2 Void Snares should sub in for 2 of the Jeskai Sages. It plays better with Narset and does better at slowing down opponents throughout the game.

Also, I'm thinking about running 1 cranial Archive. I was testing this on Untap (great site btw, check it out) and came within 15 cards of decking myself with all the card draw. Thoughts?

Updates Add

Jiggered the numbers for Command and the Walkers, swapped Jeskai Sages for Seeker of the Way, and ditched the Archive. I'm hoping with more threats I won't need it anymore.
