Sorcery (1)

1000X thanks to Hydrax and his deck Birthing Pod Ramp (got 1st place at FNM) otherwise I probably would not have considered using Primal Surge, the most bad ass way to win a game.

Craterhoof Behemoth - If I don't draw this card, primal surge gives me the ultimate GG. Other wise, I get buffed creatures.

[[Elvish mystic - kind of a staple to every green deck. Its excellent and thats about it.

Karametra's Acolyte - REMOVED

Leatherback Baloth One of my favorite cards, a 4/5 for only 3 mana. And it works amazingly in mono green devotion decks! Best vanilla in my opinion, and better than most cards in general.

Omnath, Locus of Mana - This card lets me tap everything and let the mana carry over into my next turn. Helps me not worry about tapping out.

Primalcrux - It mainly comes out as a high creature, and when it comes out with Primal Surge its just flipping insane.

Somberwald Sage - It essentially pays for its own costs and helps with mana ramp. All but 6 cards in my deck are not creatures (excluding lands), leaving Somberwald Sage's ability viable most of the time.

Strangleroot Geist - Use it to haste a 2/1 or 3/2 creature. But I intend to use it to use Birthing Pod in order to summon Somberwald Sage for three mana or Leatherback Baloth for a solid 4/5 fighter.

Sylvan Ranger - Used just like Viridian Emissary, except its only a 1/1 so its easier to kill and it does not have undying. And it gives me a forest.

Viridian Emissary - mainly a blocker to get a free land. But it can also be used to get a Leatherback Baloth and a land by using Birthing Pod.

Vorapede - Another cool card, undying makes it 6/5, and since vigilance allows it to attack and not tap, Vorapede can be used as a blocker after it attacks. Using Birthing Pod allows Vorapede to get out Primalcrux.

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx - I have 3 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx because otherwise the odds of getting it early aren't very favorable.

Primal Surge - So, the reason I only have permanents in this deck except for this one card is because once I use Primal Surge, every single card in my library gets put onto the battlefield. Craterhoof Behemoth gives all creatures +28/+28 because all of my creatures are on the battlefield (except any that may have died/or are in my hand).

  • I'm considering to put in another Primal Surge in to increase reliability. Not sure though.

Birthing Pod - Kinda the backbone of this deck, creatures with undying lets me summon another creature while also allowing me to bring them back once more, even stronger. There are too many combo's for me too add, so the more important ones have been listed.

  • The reliability of the Birthing Pod is not amazing since you need one of the 4 cards to do it. If you don't have birthing pod, you can't use the combo.

Akroma's Memorial - the main use is that Akroma's Memorial can enter with Primal Surge to give all your creatures entering haste.

Burning-Tree Emissary - getting the free mana, and burning it with Birthing Pod for some GG. Mainly using it to speed up this deck.

Vengevine - since so many creatures are being summoned in this deck, Vengevine is essentially never dead. And you could use Birthing Pod, summon a creature, then bring out another cheap creature and you have Vengevine back in the fight.

Bellowing Tanglewurm - For that intimidate though.

Yeah, I played against my friends elfball deck, got wrecked. His deck wins by turn 4, so i need better speed. I'll try to edit this deck and post his deck eventually
