Sorcery (1)

This is the deck that I want to run on Game Day this weekend. I've been doing a lot of playtesting outside of the store and I am hoping to take it by surprise since it has been doing great. This deck does very well against creature based strategies in the main deck (which is pretty much finished unless you guys have any suggestions). Where I think I will struggle is against the control decks that won't give me many targets for my enchantments and can counter my win conditions. I have added Gaea's Revenge and Mistcutter Hydra as alternative win conditions. I mainly need help with the SB.

The basic idea of the deck is to use cards such as Suspension Field, Silkwrap, Oppresive Rays and Nyx-Fleece Ram to stall out any creature based strategies long enough to draw into my win conditions. The cards in this deck synergize extremely well with each other and can really turn a game around very quickly no matter how close to losing I am. It also does very well against G/R Devotion decks that are extremely popular right now. I am also extremely aware of Back to Nature but I doubt anyone at the tourney will be running it since I haven't been using this deck there.

Herald of the Pantheon is the glue that holds this deck together. For example, turn one Temple of Plenty, turn two Herald of the Pantheon, turn three Eidolon of Blossoms or Courser of Kruphix. It just allows me to do so many things one turn early, or cast many enchantments on the same turn for life gain, draw power, or even angel tokens through Sigil of the Empty Throne. Eidolon of Blossoms is such an amazing card in this deck in combinations with Herald of the Pantheon. Herald allows me to play many one mana enchantments like Nyx-Fleece Ram which allows me to draw into another enchantment, gain another life, and possibly gain another Angel token.

Of course, End Hostilities is there to get rid of big fields, but not my own enchantments. Starfield of Nyx is great for bringing back all the enchantments that have been lost along the way. It can also be a win condition itself by suddenly making all my enchantments into pretty potent attackers.

I hope to take gameday with this deck, especially if people are going to be running things like U/R Ensoul Artifact decks or G/R devotion decks. This deck also seems to do well against things like Abzan aggro or midrange. Thanks for the feedback.
