I recently decided to make my first EDH deck and since for the most part I started playing Magic when Khans was released and my favorite clan was Abzan I figured I'd go with a BGW commander. I looked at potential commander and seeing Ghave and figured he seemed like the best option for what I wanted. The main goal of the deck will be to play defensively while buffing up my creatures with counters, archetypes, and potentially other cards of a similar nature until I can overwhelm my opponents.The deck will also have a secondary theme of generating tokens that can be buffed and used as fodder, and potentially sacd for a benefit (if I put cards in here that sac)

Like I said I'm relatively new to magic, and brand new to EDH so ANY advice/recommended cards would be greatly appreciated. Also if it matters much I will likely be playing matches against 3 (maybe sometimes 4 O.o) opponents, one of their commanders being Krenko, Mob Boss, and another one Omnath, Locus of Rage, figured I'd throw that out there if it will make an impact on card choice.

So once again any/all help will be appreciated hope you guys can input some advice. If you do decide to recommend some cards, please keep in mind that while I understand it will take money and am willing to do so my focus is more on having a deck is viable over having a deck that can't be beaten but is filled with $50 cards.
