This has become my more "competitive" deck. I use it mainly against my friends strongest decks. It has slowly evolved into a stacks-ish build. I can play daretti on turn 1. Turn 2 and 3 are very common, and playing him on turn 4 or later is rare. The stax effects are phyrexian evoker, lodestone golem, winter orb, silent arbiter, and ensnaring bridge. There are various "combos" in the deck. Darksteel forge and disk will let you board wipe over and over. Mycosynth lattice plus an overloaded vandalblast should typically win. If lattice is out, karn becomes, pay 1, kill target land. With anger in the graveyard, a mountain in play, and 3 artifacts in play, including kuldotha forgemaster, you can get a hastey blightsteel to one-shot somebody on the right board. And if I have daretti's emblem in play, and enough mana, I can ensure no one takes their own turn again (mindslaver). An obvious upgrade is mishra's workshop, but I only play cards I own, and that is one of a few cards I just won't buy, due to the price. Some combos I find a little bland such as rings and monolith. Others I exclude because i don't want this to be full-blown cEDH. I just want it to be somewhat unique and capable of competing with other considerably strong decks.
