This is a Varolz scavenge deck. This was my first EDH.

This deck is not tiny leaders. Just saying.

I use sacrifice and dredge to get cards in my graveyard and wreck with Varolz. I am hoping to get Birthing Pod for this deck.

Fun Combos:

Massacre Wurm + Sudden Spoiling . These two wipe your opponent's board and drains their life. And you get a 6/5.

Genesis Hydra + Gyre Sage . Scavenge onto the sage and make a giant hydra. Works for any hydra with X in its mana cost.

Retribution of the Ancients + Vhati il-Dal . After scavenging, I can use Vhati's ability and remove a +1/+1 counter from one of my creatures to destroy an opponent's creature. Very useful.

Death's Shadow + Kin-Tree Invocation . After scavenging death's shadow or phyrexian dreadnought (either one works) onto a Varolz, invocation gives you another 15/15 for only 2 mana.

Anytime I am able to reduce my opponent down to less than twenty life with a giant trample creature and my opponent uses a kill spell, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord can win me that game by sacrificing that creature. I don't even have to respond to the kill spell, but that happens often.
