"Great devotion yields great reward."

A Selesnya-colored deck that scratches an itch I've had ever since getting back into Magic during the original Innistrad block: an angel tribal deck. My Aurelia deck from way back was originally going to be an Angel tribal, but their high cost combined with Boros' lack of meaningful ramp and draw made that idea next to impossible. Finally I've decided to make the deck, choosing Sigarda, Host of Herons as the commander and adding a lifegain sub-theme.

While I wouldn't consider the deck to be particularly competitive, it can be difficult to stop once it gets going. Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Shalai, Voice of Plenty provide considerable protection for my board while Glare of Subdual allows my token armies to defend against evasive targets or preventing my opponents from meaningfully engaging in combat on my turns. Test of Endurance, Archangel of Thune, and Aetherflux Reservoir allow me to weaponize the lifegain strategies through alternate win conditions or massive damage.
