This deck actually started as a Temur Pummeler deck with Refiners in the main and Negates in the sideboard. I felt that the mana base was too clunky with Lumbering Falls and Botanical Sanctum in the deck. Switched to straight Red/Green Pummeler and have been happy ever since.
Creatures
4 of everything except Rhonas. Only run 2 of him, but that seems to be plenty. I've played around with different configurations of 2-4 Cubs and 3 Servants, but again felt that it was just too inconsistent.
Other than the Pummelers, Hydra is the MVP of this deck, being extremely tough to deal with.
Spells
This has been a balancing act. I like having Fling in the deck as a surprise shot for game 1, but often find myself siding them out for games 2-3. If anything, I would possibly swap them for 1 Abrade and 1 Harnessed Lightning. A full playset of Blossoming Defense and Invigorated Rampage are a must and Attune just fixes your mana for you and powers up the beats.
Lands
I have been happy with this land configuration. When rotation happens, Game Trail will become Rootbound Crag. I'm still on the fence about Hashep Oasis and the proper number to run. I could possibly go down in Forests and add more Hashep, but I don't like losing life when I'm trying to use my lands.
Sideboard
As with all sideboards, this reflects local meta. We have a lot of creature heavy decks here, so I tend to pack heavy on the removal. I fully expect this board to change again once rotation happens as Magma Spray may not be quite as awesome as it was vs Zombies. The Samut is in the board for control matchups. She's fun to flash in and then cast a Hydra or something else to smash face with the following turn. The haste she gives folks helps a lot. With 4 Abrades and 2 Appetite for the Unnatural, I ditched the Manglehorns I had in the side and went with Skysovereign. I'll need to see how these work out of the side before I decide to swap them with Aethersphere Harvester, which is my next choice.
Feedback
Would appreciate any feedback people are willing to provide as I find this deck extremely fun to play. Enjoy and thanks!
