So, this is basically the pioneer version of the modern deck Skred Red. It's a midrange/control deck that looks to prey on other midrange strategies and it punishes those who think themselves above basic lands, playing 4 cleansing wildfires, 3 Field of ruins and a sb Crucible of Worlds

The deck was originally created by Aspiringspike, but I've added Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Siege-gang commander in order to get more of a board prescense / board control kinda strategy. The deck struggles a bit against early aggression, and these two cards help mitigate that problem. Since you'll get acces to a lot of mana through Fires of invention and the Cleansing Wildfire/Cascading Cataracts-combo, activating the commander or Chandra's parents is mostly not as much of a problem. Also, since you have a lot of random tokens now (Pia and Kiran, Siege-gang, Fable, Den of the bugbear) a surprise Cavalier of Flame or Castle Embereth can mean sudden death for your opponents.

Oh, there's also Karn, the Great Creator and a sideboard full of artifacts!
