Maybeboard

Good ol' mono-red burn, with some pillowfort elements.

The general strategy with Ben-Ben, Akki Hermit is to basically not tap your mountains until after your opponents' combat phases are over. This can be accomplished with cards like (Vedalken Orrery, Sol Ring, Basalt Monolith, Iron Myr, Dreamstone Hedron, etc.) Then, equip cards like (Basilisk Collar, Scythe of the Wretched, Illusionist's Bracers, or Thornbite Staff) with a (Lightning Greaves or Whispersilk Cloak) onto Ben-Ben in order to take full advantage of the synergy.

Hellkite Tyrant made it in as an alternate win con, because there ended up being 20+ artifacts at the end of creating the deck. Mixed with the natural board control Ben-Ben and his synergy cards give you, it's easy to get a flyer in unblocked where you need it. The problem would be protecting your board when someone sees this hit your side as a threat. Only works well in certain playgroups, or maybe a different version of the deck.

The maybeboard is big because there are a lot of different iterations of this deck and you can easily buff different aspects of it.

The version I'm playing focuses on playing around my mountains and keeping them generally untapped for Ben-Ben, Akki Hermit. Other versions focus on land destruction, or even "goading" opponents into hitting Stuffy Doll, Rage Nimbus, etc.

Random tip: You can use Word of Seizing to take someone's planeswalker right after they get it into ult range and make them super salty.
