THE STRATEGY

The game plan here is pretty obvious, we have a lot of colourless artifact spells and artifact lands. What we aim to do with these is trigger the abilities of Reckless Fireweaver and Nettle Drone repeatedly enough to burn the opponent down.

WHY RUN THESE CARDS?

CREATURES

• Reckless Fireweaver & Nettle Drone - These creatures will be responsible for a lot of burn in the deck. Reckless Fireweaver will deal damage each time an artifact enters the battlefield while Nettle Drone Can tap to deal one damage to the opponent, but will untap with each colourless artifact we cast, allowing us to burn for a lot more in our turns.

• Ornithopter - This card is brilliant and I love it in this deck. Not only is it a creature to set off our burn creatures, but it's also a decent blocker for the flying threats looking to hit us.

• Glint Hawk - This card is in here to bounce our artifacts back to hand so we may deal a little bit more damage to the opponent and put a 2/2 body on the field with flying for one mana. This screamed value at me as soon as I saw it and I had to atleast lay around with it in this deck.

ARTIFACTS

Many artifacts in this deck are , this is due to the fact it would help burn the opponent cheaper and help us a lot more than many others would.

• Welding Jar - This card is a little beauty on the field. Many will want to get rid of our creatures once they see the deck can deal a decent amount of damage to them. Welding Jar is here as a lifesaver.

• Lotus Petal - When I saw this card was a common, I had to include it. The ability to drop this card for free and get a mana made this a must for this deck.

• Implement of Combustion - Its to put this onto the field, triggering out burn creatures and another to sacrifice it, deal one damage to the opponent and draw a card. It does so much for so little.

• Tormod's Crypt - Tired of opponents with flashback spells and other graveyard interaction? This may be a big help later down the line and its for a good price at .

• Prophetic Prism - This guy is our highest priced artifact at , but we have a good reason for this. This card is only going to trigger our burn, draw us a card and allow us to filter our lands.

INSTANTS & Sorceries

• Lightning Bolt - If this your artifacts aren't doing this trick quick enough, smash one of these right into an opponents face or deal with those pesky creatures for a cool .

• Blasphemous Act - You love card draw, I love card draw, We all love card draw!

LANDS

• Ancient Den, Great Furnace & Darksteel Citadel - Do you know whats better than free burn triggers? Burn triggers that are also LANDS!

• Wind-Scarred Crag - Boros tap land that also grants one life. Its nice.

• Mountain + plain - You just need these.
