Queen Marchesa deck themed around a queens guard that protects and maintains the monarchy. This is a budget deck that is meant to be fun while keeping the price reasonable. The deck focuses on getting and maintaining the monarch through pillow fort cards and cards that just give us the monarchy back. There is a slight enchantress subtheme along with some tokens to keep help keep our board state against players trying to take our crown. The idea is to tax our opponents with life, resources, creatures, or their hand for every move they make against the crown. Once we get enough mana we can bring out some pretty big threats and we have a lot of keywords for Odric. In this color pairing our card draw and ramp is limited so we use the monarchy triggers and bounty counters for most of the card draw and artifacts for ramp. We have some recursion for both along with tutors. The curses are great 1v1 and they can be very political along with the bounty counters. The land base will be the first upgrade. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or inputs for the deck. This is my favorite deck I've built so far so any help would be appreciated.
