A modern rock deck with blue instead of the more traditional red or white.
A notable strengths of this deck are the redundancy, with essentially 7 copies of tarmogoyf and 7 of snapcaster mage, and the value of serum visions in a topdeck war.2/2 split on the lilys is a concession to lingering souls.
The three murderous cuts are necessary because the metas I play in include lots of Eldrazi and Tasigurs, neither of which are handled by fatal push well.
Kalitas is our four drop of choice to hate on graveyard decks and gain life. Scooze wasn't working out in this slot because green is only a splash in this deck, and you don't naturally fetch it aggressively. I could rework the manabase to be weighted more towards filterlands to support scooze, but I haven't tested that yet.
Finally, the fetches are weird because those are the fetches I own. The bloodstained mire should be a second misty to make the deck optimal.
