I've had my eye on a particular combo for a little while now: Assemble the legion + purphoros; Add doubling season to make things extra silly. Two cards isnt enough to build a deck (especially not an EDH deck), so I started looking for other things that make the combo happen, and make it even more ridiculous. Naturally, the next place i went was warstorm surge/pandemonium. Now my tokens are dealing damage equal to their power when they etb, neat. Add Stalking vengeance and vicious shadows and we might just be on to something here. But building an EDH deck is not a sprint it's a marathon, so we have to find a way to stay alive long enough to pull it off. My answer was fog effects, so i included 25 of them (roughly 1/4 of the deck). I should be drawing fogs just slightly less than i draw lands, which should be plenty to keep up long enough. Extra fun with isochron scepter. But, i still feel like we're missing something: that burst damage that wins games from 2 life and 7 poison counters. Combo Warstorm Surge/Pandemonium with Thromok the insatiable/Wayfaring Temple/Mycoloth/Scion of the wild/Geist honored Monk/crusader of odric/Rhys the redeemed, and those creatures might as well read: "ETB: Kill target player"I think my favorite thing about this deck has been that it doesn't swing to win. It sits back and passively burns my opponents to death while building a defensive force to stop any big stompy idiot in its tracks, and it doesn't really care about removal or board-wipes because it just keeps doing it.Comments/Thoughts/Suggestions appreciated
