Description

This is a Jeskai Control deck, using Isochron Scepter as a value engine and to create soft locks with Isochron Scepter + Silence or Angel's Grace + Isochron Scepter . Since Enlightened Tutor is one of the best tutors for Scepter, we are running a package to justify it.

Points

Ancestral Recall -7 : Ancestral is a strong card, and great to cast it without much support. But because we're playing Isochron Scepter , we can draw 3 cards a turn for 2 mana, which is great value. Mystical Tutor -2 : Gets us Ancestral Recall , Gets us Terminus and other miracles. Its great value and can really get us ahead. Not much more to say. Mana Drain -1 : Now I think this card is probably the most flexible point. I considered playing Merchant Scroll instead, but Mana Drain gives some real explosives starts, and your opponent can have a real hard time getting back when the first spell they cast is always countered

Enlightened Tutor Package

Your non-scepter hits for Enlightened Tutor are Moat , Sensei's Divining Top , Search for Azcanta   and Shark Typhoon . You will probably never get Search for Azcanta  , because Azcanta is very good in long games, and then you will probably get Sensei's Divining Top as it gives you a lot of card selection and can allow you to not relay on your graveyard, and Top will be much more reliable. Moat is for when your going to die to midrange and aggressive strategies (AKA RDW). Shark Typhoon is a great finisher, and can create a body if your in a pinch for a way to win and low on mana.
