100$ Minotaur Tribal, AKA Sethron Olive

Commander / EDH* BR (Rakdos)

AfroMagic17

Hello again everyone!

I thought to myself, what would be another fun commander to build around? And then it hit me, "Minotaur Tribal". I attempted some here and there, but nothing ever really stuck with me, but then, I remembered there was Sethron, Hurloon General and suddenly, I thought "This is the one I can do it with!" Also, as for the budget, I thought that it would be reasonable to keep it under 100$?

Minotall-staurs These are the minotaurs that I found have been consistently good when they hit the battlefield. If I am casting Deathbellow War Cry , then these are the creatures that will immediately come to mind. - Kragma Warcaller - This guy is always nice, because not only does he let your minotaur tokens attack faster, he also gives them a little pump in power when they attack! - Felhide Petrifier - I don't know the entire logic as to how these bonafied bovines get deathtouch from this guy, but I ain't gonna argue, because even a 2/3 Minotaur with deathtouch will catch some folks off guard! - Rageblood Shaman - Honestly, this guy is simple enough to enjoy. A Minotaur anthem along with Minotaur trample? What more do you need? - Moraug, Fury of Akoum - Surprisingly, this actually made it into the budget! Its solid as a finisher, and if you have another land to play when this comes in, then it really increases the value! - Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion + Neheb, the Worthy Now, these two I'm putting together because I can. Worthy is absolutely vicious with the Felhide Petrifier , and theres a good chance we will have emptied our hands at some point, so its another power anthem! Dreadhorde Champion is really good as a "draw engine", because we can toss some of our other minotaurs in the graveyard, which not only gets us mana, but also helps with the sub theme of our deck!

Necro-Moo-ncy If theres one thing black excels at, its bringing back stuff from the grave! - Blood for Bones - This is always a solid addition in my opinion. Especially where it basically reads "Create a 2/3 Minotaur and return a creature from your graveyard to your hand. - Haunting Voyage - If we have reached the near end of the game, then this is absolutely a good game finisher! Being able to bring back all of your minotaurs back from the grave with some extra reinforcements is nothing to scoff at! - Infernal Offering - I personally always liked the offering cycle, just because of how political you can make it! Make someone with the largest creature sac it, and choose someone with an empty graveyard, or if someone is willing to help you, bring back a good creatures of theirs! - Raise the Draugr - Now, while this isnt specifically back to the battlefield, returning two minotaurs from your graveyard is always good! - Malakir Rebirth  - I have begun to really appreciate the wonder of the MDFC's. This one works really well, as you can use it as a small bit of board wipe protection, or chump block with a non token minotaur to keep it AND make another token for the army! Or if the game doesn't like it, it can be an emergency land! - Whip of Erebos - This one is fun, because I can call any Minotaur brought back by this "Whipped Cream". And of course, lifelink is nothing to scoff at either! - Living Death - Now this is the card that may cause issues if you aren't careful. While yes, it is a board wipe, if your opponents are creature heavy in their graveyard, this rapidly loses value.

I am already happy with this deck in my opinion, and if there are any recommendations that dont blow over the budget, feel free to let me know! Eventually I am planning to make an improvement list for both $25 and $50.
