I just got into MTG a few weeks ago after a friend invited me to a draft, so this is my first time trying to put a deck together. I know nothing.
Features of the deck:
The big mechanic here is proliferate, which lets me choose any number of permanents(or players) and give them a counter of a type they already have.
All creatures except the palladium myr (which is there for mana) come in with +1/+1 counters on them, and so all creatures are immediately subject to proliferate. Once I get a Clasp or Engine out on the field, I can tap for 4 mana to give all my creatures a permanent +1/+1. In addition, thanks to the Modular mechanic, few of these counters should ever leave the field of battle. Anti-air is taken care of by Arcbound Stingers and Pentavite swarms.
Other potential combos:
Clearwater Goblet and Everflowing chalice are subject to proliferate, potentially giving me ever-increasing life and mana.
Trading post + Myr Turbine gives me control of my graveyard and extra draw.
Titan Forge + Voltaic Key + Contagion Engine gives me a 9/9 for 8 every turn; without the key, I have a 9/9 for 7 every other turn.
Mirrorworks + Literally anything I mean Jesus. God forbid Myr Turbine or Voltaic Key.
