Sideboard

This deck is currently identical to the one posted by Frank Karsten of Channel Fireball on March 22,2016. I post it here to keep track of the deck and how I change it into this new standard season. As always your thoughts are welcome as I was playing Simic Ramp prior, so this will be a new experience for me.

From what I can tell, the original author took a "kitchen sink" approach to making this deck. The heart of the ramp idea is there with Explosive Vegetation, Nissa's Pilgrimage, and the Deathcap Cultivator. With these ramp pieces and Evolving Wilds, getting lands and the right color lands should not be problem. As opposed to being all-in on Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon like my simic variant, this deck diversifies a bit into powerful seven cost minions. Dragonlord Atarka and World Breaker are both here to cause a lot of damage and provide protection from the sky.

The Planeswalkers I especially enjoy in this particular list. Arlinn Kord   seems sick. Not just because she can protect herself and bolt annoying creatures, but she can give eldrazi and dragons vigilance and haste. Chandra, Flamecaller is a good finisher and can cycle your hand or burn the board if she needs to.

The sideboard I don't completely follow. It has room to grow based on my local meta and I will change it as I need to. As the original author explained, the individual cards in the sideboard are there to deal with just about anything. I might need more Roast or Jaddi Offshoot but we'll see how things go at the LGS.

Again, if you have any thoughts or opinions on ramp or how this deck could be improved please let me know. I will make updates as I change the deck.
