This build started as a fun little deck making use of leftovers cards in my collection. I am focusing on a competitive Azorious control idea and ALWAYS end up throwing more interesting stuff together from spare parts... Or, more FUN, at least.
This has been surprisingly resilient so far; it can survive wipes and counters often keeping it's aggressive tempo despite disruption. The red splash for Falkenrath Aristocrat is worth it alone. I threw Vexing Devil in on a whim one night and LOVED the results; mass recursion makes the contentious little dude a bigger threat as the game progresses since the opponents situation becomes unavoidably painful.
Flexible sideboard options from some transformative persist combo deck to a toolbox of less creature-dependent mid-range cards.
I had been worried about mass exile effects, but you just sacrifice stuff to stuff and send it to the yard in response. Graveyard hate is still a weakness but only for the Rally the Ancestors win-condition, and losing Bloodsoaked Champion recursion hurts, too.
Currently fooling around with Lingering Souls and liking it, thinking about a single MB Ranger of Eos, and open to suggestions.
Orzov Charm is disgustingly effective.
