Maybeboard

Have been working on her for a little while. Mostly goldfishing, so I'm not sure how interactive it is yet. The problem with playing any deck out alone is, of course, that you never have to fight through much disruption. I also tend to play it a bit more linearly than it might play otherwise, rushing to the deck's primary combo: Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle. Alongside a creature that Sengir Autocrat Abhorrent Overlord as it enters the battlefield/dies, this provides infinite death triggers, etb's, and colorless mana. With a creature that Twin-Silk Spider on etb/death, that still creates an infinite loop of death/etb triggers, which wins with Falkenrath Noble and company.

I hope to make the deck more grindy and resilient, lowering the mana curve, improving the ramp, and reducing the vulnerability to graveyard hate. I would also appreciate feedback on the Altar-Deathmantle package; I don't mind how the two fit in with the rest of the deck, but I don't want to feel compelled to rush it out. I had a Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper deck that abused this interaction, but it felt like a one-trick pony. In an ideal case, the deck works like a control/value engine that stands alone without having to combo out, but still packs heat in its back pocket.
