IT's Back! My past creation got some new powerful toys.

This deck will utilize some of the more powerful artifact based strategies built into M15 and now Maic Origins. One of my personal favorites... Scuttling Doom Engine + Shrapnel Blast . Let's take a look

So one of my first thoughts on my next deck was "What makes the top tier decks so good in standard?"

What most of the top tier decks have is consistency, reach, and some amount of card replenishment.

So this deck has those things, I think. There are consistent early aggression plays like Ensoul Artifact on anything. This is my "Pack Rat. A sound mid game threat that is very powerful. In comes Scuttling Doom Engine , and some late game reach and power with Shrapnel Blast and Thopter Spy Network.

Please send me your suggestions and +1s. Thanks

So I finished 3-2 this past week, finishing just out of the top 8.

Whole new lists take some time to tweak and practice mechanics with so I am feeling good about what I saw from the deck.

Lets discuss what interactions I saw that went well.

Generator Servant and Chief Engineer did everything I would have hoped for them to do. They are early advantage creatures that require an almost immediate response for spot removal or else they just get the game too far ahead for your opponent to catch up.

I loved getting out Turn 3 planeswalkers or Turn 3 Keranos, the effect was so powerful.

The early aggression from Ensoul Artifact was all i could have hoped for, but I found myself wishing for a Military Intelligence. So I will test that next. Chances are I will switch back if I feel I am missing out on the early aggression because the card advantages from my other cards are usually enough.

"The Trio" (Jace, the Living Guildpact, Chandra, Pyromaster, and Keranos, God of Storms) truly feels like an episode of Voltron. Each powerful in their own rights providing me all kinds of good interactions individually, but just going bonkers with synergy when all three are on the battlefield.

All in all I feel this deck could become a major archetype contender.
