First draft of Ghave, Guru of Spores deck. Meant to be a combo deck, will probably never win with combat damage or tokens. Here are some of the combos added in this deck:

Ashnod's Altar + Geralf's Messenger + Ghave, Guru of Spores

This is the fastest combo in the deck. As such, I often go for this combo first since it's easier to assemble than the rest. It's essentially a two card combo since I can cast Ghave from the command zone at any time.

Step 1: Sacrifice Geralf's Messenger to the Altar, and produce mana. Geralf's Messenger returns to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter, and an opponent loses life.

Step 2: I then use the mana produced from the Altar to remove the +1/+1 counter from Geralf's Messenger with Ghave, Guru of Spores' ability. The Messenger's Undying ability will trigger again the next time it dies.

Step 3: Repeat the process infinitely and kill all opponents.

Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion

This is one of the most famous and well known combos in the game of Magic. Some may be new to it, so I'll explain it anyway.

Step 1: Triskelion enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters. It can remove them via its own ability. Remove one to deal damage to an opponent. Remove the other two to deal one damage to Triskelion, allowing it to kill itself.

Step 2: Triskelion's Undying ability (provided by Mikaeus, the Unhallowed) triggers, bringing it back to the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter for four total +1/+1 counters.

Step 3: Repeat the combo and machine gun all opponents to death.

One of the most important aspects to this deck is redundancy. The fact that so many cards in here can substitute for one another makes the deck very resilient.

A classic combo is Blasting Station + Karmic Guide + Reveillark

Step 1: Sacrifice Karmic Guide to Blasting Station. Deal one damage.

Step 2: Sacrifice Reveillark to Blasting Station. When Reveillark leaves the battlefield, it returns Karmic Guide to the battlefield.

Step 3: Stack your triggers so Blasting Station untaps before Karmic Guide's ETB trigger resolves. This is important.

Step 4: Respond to Karmic Guide's ETB trigger by sacrificing it to Blasting Station. The ETB trigger then resolves, bringing Reveillark back to the battlefield, untapping Blasting Station.

Step 5: Restart the combo all over again and machine gun your opponents to death.

As I said, however, consistency is achieved through redundancy.

Saffi Eriksdotter can replace Karmic Guide or Reveillark in the above combo.

Saffi Eriksdotter + Sun Titan achieves the same effect.

Fiend Hunter + Sun Titan achieves the same effect.

Fiend Hunter + Karmic Guide achieves the same effect.

This combo is similar to Tooth and Nail in that it requires only one card to get started. That card is Boonweaver Giant .

Step 1: Get Boonweaver Giant into play, whether by casting it, reanimating it, or through Chord of Calling.Once the Giant enters the battlefield, you fetch Pattern of Rebirth.

Step 2: Sacrifice Boonweaver Giant through one of the many available sac outlets in this deck. Pattern of Rebirth's trigger goes onto the stack and you fetch Karmic Guide, reanimating Boonweaver, which in turn reanimates Pattern of Rebirth.

Step 3: Sac Boonweaver again, this time fetching Fiend Hunter to exile Karmic Guide.

Note: Depending on which sac outlet you have, Fiend Hunter and Karmic Guide automatically win. If you don't, move on to step 4.

Step 4: Sac Fiend Hunter bringing Karmic Guide back, reanimating Boonweaver. Sac Karmic Guide, then Boonweaver and fetch Reveillark.

Step 5: Sacrifice Reveillark to reanimate Karmic Guide and Fiend Hunter. Karmic Guide reanimates Boonweaver Giant and Fiend Hunter then exiles Karmic Guide.

You now have a loop that lets you search your library for every creature and put them onto the battlefield. You can bring out Rune-Scarred Demon to tutor up something, or Mike and Trike. Either way, if this combo is uninterrupted, you win the game in whichever manner you want.
