This is a sketch of a dirty-cheap Allies deck based around Zulaport Cutthroat and Kalastria Healer with Rally the Ancestors, along with several sacrifice outlets, including Nantuko Husk, Altar's Reap, and Bone Shards. The idea is to speedily build a meat grinder, where the opponent is ground when allies enter and leave the board. Lifegain stalls it against red, and its nature means that losing creatures to control is no big deal since Rally the Ancestors allows them to come back and do their jobs.
I need help here. I have not yet been able to put together the cards for goldfishing. I want this deck to be ready in time for Game Day. I need to be able to sit at the grown-ups' table and not totally lose. As usual, I am almost flat broke, so building a tier-one deck for Game Day is out of the question. I generally have pretty good luck with rogue decks like this, and I already own the two playsets of rares I need for it. While suggestions for rares and mythics which cost more than a buck or two will be appreciated, they will also break my budget. In case you are wondering, I picked up my playset of Hangarback Walker the week after they came out when I was able to score a playset for $20.
One obvious fact is that Shambling Vent would almost certainly be better than Evolving Wilds. However, while I might be able to borrow them, buying them is out of the question at present, unless this deck actually turns out to be competitive.
While Drana, Liberator of Malakir might be good, 1x would cost more than the entire rest of the main deck. I am also not considering using Drana's Emissary because of Rally the Ancestors. I want to be able to play every aspect of the deck out with a mere 4 mana, save that recursion for Nantuko Husk would require 5 mana.
I am having some trouble considering black sideboard options. I have not played much black in a while, and the brief moment I was doing WB Warriors, the general options seemed to be poor. I just tossed this sideboard together, including a couple of things I was considering maindecking, so the sideboard definitely needs at least as much work as the maindeck shell.
