So was my second ever EDH deck. It started out as landfall triggers for most if not all monsters in the deck. So started heavy creature like mostly from Battle for Zendikar. Then i realized that most if not all of the effects from the land triggers sucked and barely lasted. Except for Omnath's. So i started centering the idea around lots of land drops to trigger toekn spam via Omnath. That's where Animist's Awakening and Boundless Realms became my main cards. Between that version of Omnath and the one you see now, not much has changed other than more land drops directly to the field instead of the hand, less creatures and artifacts, and a few crack lands. I also added burn in the form of dropping creatures. Aka, Warstorm Surge and Where Ancients Tread. More recently though, I have become more group huggy and added cards like Thunderfoot Baloth, Gruul War Chant, Gratuitous Violence, etc. Overall, what started as a budget landfall trigger deck has turned into one hell of a deck that I am quite proud of. Now I have reached the point where there aren't any more cheap cards to add in. So slowly going to be adding in more and more expensive cards. Sorta like crucible of worlds but that was a gift. In the future I plan to stick with Omnath and his tokens as my main focal point. Thank you for viewing and if you would upvote that would be great!
