A few key things to remember:

• Deflecting Palm against Burn acts in a fashion similar to Blightning or Undermine. It deals damage and helps reduce the inherit card disadvantage that burn suffers from.

• Boros Charm has multiple modes. Double strike is useful if your opponent has a Leyline of Sanctity that is unanswered and indestructible can lead to blowouts both in combat and as a reactive spell to sweepers. It's not wrong to save your Ensnaring Bridge from a K. Command when against Grixis Death's Shadow.

• People sometimes classify Burn as a combo deck, where the combo is building 20 points of burn spells/haste creatures to throw at your opponent. I believe this isn't the best way to look at burn. Burn is best viewed as a value deck, where each burn spell is a threat to your opponent.
