the deck centers around Feather, the Redeemed to trigger the "heroic" mechanic as much as possible. this differs from the stock versions you'll see other places, by favoring permanent buffs (counters) over temporary buffs.

Dreadhorde Arcanist & Mavinda, Students' Advocate: both of these guys work with Feather to recycle my spells.

Gird for Battle: multiple heroic triggers.

Reckless Rage: potentially reusable removal, and all my creatures easily survive the 2 damage.

Ancestral Anger: trample and card draw for 1 mana is pretty aggressive.

Homestead Courage: flashback means multiple heroic triggers and also works with Feather.

Boros Charm: the versatility makes it the best option in the 2 mana slot.

Honorable Mentions

Study Break: target 1 opposing creature and 1 of my own to get it back with Feather.

Angelfire Ignition: easily castable with Dreadhorde Arcanist, and as previously mentioned, flashback works with feather.
