Sideboard

Edit: I've since added Keruga, the Macrosage as a companion because he's the biggest friend of all, and swapped the 2cmc spells for Bonecrusher Giant s and Brazen Borrower s. Not sure if the downside of losing fire prophecy's recursion is bad enough to sweat it. Bringing it into Bo3, the sideboard looks like Sporeweb Weaver and Broken Wings plus some backup adventure spells, just updated the list.

So now with adventure spells, Lukka no longer guarantees a big creature hit. I'm going to have to think about the best situation for this. Possibly it would be to run adventures with Keruga against matchups where Lukka is bad and sideboarded out, and run Fire Prophecy/Unsubstantiate and no Keruga otherwise. Or simply keep Keruga but trade Lukka and more copies of the Temur Commands for the adventures package as a whole. Barrin also messes with this, so I cut him for the time being even though he's cool.

Kasmina, Enigma Sage is super cool, comboing especially well with Teferi, Master of Time and Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast . I don't know quite how competitive this deck could be or if it's seen any play, but I do know it's fun and has powerful effects that can get out of control very fast.

I've only played this in Bo1 so far, but here's the deck tech:

Everyone loves Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider . Maybe it's worth trying more sagas for synergy with Clexy man and Genesis Ultimatum . For now, we have a singleton Kiora Bests the Sea God because the Scute-tate deck made me sad once and now I hope this will solve all my problems.

Anyway..

With Kasmina's +2 ability, Teferi gains loyalty alarmingly fast and has a lot of options available at instant-speed, from creating an X/X creature for blocks, using his own phasing ability, or even using Kasmina's ultimate to fetch a free Genesis Ultimatum or Sublime Epiphany early in the game.

Lukka gets your Vorinclexes. While it's nice to + the planeswalkers' loyalty, often times I'll take an early risk to create a token with Kasmina and immediately exile it with Lukka to get a Vorinclex on the field. This might put the planeswalkers at 2 or 3 loyalty, but that won't last long if they can't be immediately dealt with.

The Royal Scions and Lukka are both helpful combos with Body of Research , a 1-of-fun-of that can be fetched by nearly any planeswalker using Kasmina's ability. Lukka can use the Fractal to deal direct damage with his ultimate, and the Scions can give first strike and trample.

Modal Will and Rowan is just good and relevant.

Koma, Cosmos Serpent is arguably not relevant but its power level is hard to pass up, and it gives Lukka another potential hit for what it's worth.

The Commands are versatile spells for the early game, Prismari Command can ramp and fix mana as well as looting into answers or adding the last few points of damage onto a Crush the Weak . Quandrix Command can tempo and lead to some odd blowouts as a counter spell. It also has the purpose of shuffling relevant cards back into the library, and this includes Vorinclex if somehow there are none left, or high-costed spells to re-fetch with Kasmina's ultimate. The latter is (was) also the purpose of Fire Prophecy (putting fetchable spells back into the library), along with being a T2 removal spell which the deck doesn't really have otherwise.

Aether Helix might be another decent card for Teferi to fetch at instant-speed. I would run Sleep , but I believe the card is only available in Bo1 and so it won't make the cut for me but if that's your format of choice it's probably worth considering.

It might be worth trying more 2cmc spells to set up for the many higher-costed spells, but honestly with Crush able to speak to sacrificial and aggro decks, the versatility of the deck including the Commands can often be sufficient and fairly playable. I could see more supplemental burn or tempo being useful though, especially extra points of creature burn. Arcane Subtraction is a nice spell alongside Rowan in my opinion, if you're including a Learn/Lesson package which I am not. I'm currently trying Unsubstantiate which I'm not sure about but may be really decent. (since updated to Bonecrusher Giant and Brazen Borrower )

Thanks for checking it out and good luck and have fun.
