My First Tier One Deck.

I'm very new to MTG and I'm gradually learning the basics of the game. I'm interested in deck building but I'm not quite where I want to be with understanding synergies and card mechanics.

To get into the more competitive side of MTG and possibly win a couple games I've made my own variation on a proven Tier One Deck.

Match one, cleaned up with a pummel pump Match Two, Hydra, Cub, and Brawler throw for the win.

OPPONENT: ATTACKING WITH Walking Ballista (2x +1+1 Counters) Drana, Liberator of Malakir (Drana gave WB it's second counter).

Saved by two blossoming defenses.

Longtusk Cub and Voltaic Brawler tapped. Defend the Walking Ballista With Servant of the Conduit. Opponent Launches 2 counters from Ballista to the Voltaic Brawler, I counter with blossoming Defense. Opponent puts Fatal Push on the stack targeting Longtusk Cub with Revolt proc. Again I counter with Blossoming Defense ending combat with the board state in my favor. Lethal Throw with all Creatures on my side.
