[[Obzedat, Ghost Council]] — May 4, 2017

Initially, I thought Obzedat, Ghost Council would be a terrible card in this control list, however, after some playtesting I've been pleasantly surprised. Not only is he castable, but he is astoundingly resilient and acts as a fast clock and acts a really good racing creature due to his life swing clauses. If this deck is expertly piloted the resolution of Obzedat, Ghost Council when the opponent is tapped out is really effective. By the end of my turn, he's exiled and my opponent has to wait for me to untap my lands in order to get rid of him. This allows me to play Obzedat, Ghost Council with Cryptic Command *list* or Countersquall in hand to counter an opposing Path to Exile on my next upkeep. Keep in mind Obzedat, Ghost Council is also immune to opposing Liliana of the Veil Fatal Push and any sorcery speed removal.
