This deck is my own attempt at u/r storm. Id love any suggestions and looking for room to main bolt if any one could help id really appreciate.
cantrips:
Serum Visions-The best cantrip. Gives a draw then draw manipulation. Run 4 always.
Sleight of Hand-Great to start if needing more lands and gets pesky early unwanted cards out of the way. Always comes before Serum Visions to advance dig. Run 4.
Thought Scour-Spectacular for getting cards in your grave for Pyromancer Ascension or messing with your opponents scry. Instant speed draw. Run 3-4
Gitaxian Probe-Free draw in a sense and allows you to be prepared for the worst early on. Run 0 or 4 depending on style of play.
Desperate Ravings- Good when it comes to getting rid of dead cards or stocking your graveyard. Run 2-3
rituals:
Desperate Ritual- Instant add RRR to your mana pool. Combos well with Manamorphose. Key to the deck. Can be spliced onto another copy of itself for more mana. Run 4
Pyretic Ritual-Same as the above but cant be spliced. Also run 4
Manamorphose-Adds two mana of any color combination. So this will save you alot ecspecially when you get to draw a card in advance. Run 4
engines:
Goblin Electromancer-Makes all the combo pieces easier to cast and it will run alot faster. Easy to kill though and wanting to replace with lightning bolt. run 4.
Pyromancer Ascension-Combo card. Copies all instants and sorcerys cast. This card will win 80% of games alone once you turn it on. Must run 4.
Past in Flames-All instants and sorcerys i your grave have flashback (thats nearly every card in your deck). This card restarts your turn pretty much because you cast everything again for a higher storm count and draw alot of cards to fuel you storm! Usually runs 3 for consistency.
wincons:
Grapeshot-Because it does win the game after 8 spells, grapeshot, past in flames, grapeshot. thats a wrap folks.
Well thats a pretty simple decklist. Lets move onto the sideboard.
sideboard:
Lightning Bolt-This card can be a removal spell or you let it get copied a few times then flash it back to copy it a few more times. you just won, congratz. Run 4.
Blood Moon-Not only can you play this turn two thanks to Pyretic Ritual or Desperate Ritual it'll win the game on turn two. run 2-3.
Defense Grid-Once you play this card your pretty much countering every card that is sent your way on your turn. It wont ever back fire because u play everything on your turn. Run 1-2.
Empty the Warrens-Alternate win condition for grave hate. This will make tokens early enough or late enough to win with it or chump block with it. Run 3.
Shatterstorm-Beats affinity, can be played turn two or turn three if must be. Run 2-3.
Rakdos Charm-The black splash from watery grave makes this playable and very worth it. At instant speed exile a graveyard or beat a Splinter Twin combo. Who knew? Runs 2-3.
