A low to the ground lifegain deck with Karlov of the Ghost Council at the helm. Almost every card in this deck gains you life, so the counters quickly stack up on Karlov. Then you can just control the board and beat down your opponents. The key is to land Karlov as quickly as you can, but not without some form of protection, preferably things like Whispersilk Cloak. While Karlov can easily be a good voltron commander, this deck was not built with that strategy in mind.The BW manabase allows room for fun things like Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage and of course Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth .This deck usually wins by just beating down while controlling the board with Karlov, but there's also big drain effects from Debt to the Deathless, Aetherflux Reservoir or Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Alternatively there is Felidar Sovereign or the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond combo.
