Sideboard

This is a storm combo deck, where the main point of the deck is to rack up a high enough storm count to kill your opponent with Tendrils of Agony

There are 2 main "Ways" to go off with this deck, the Ad Nauseam way, and the Past in Flames way.

  1. The Ad Nauseam way to go off involves the following; usually ramping up mana using Dark Ritual Cabal Ritual or Lotus Petal, but if the game goes longer you can hard cast it. Dig until you get enough cheap spells to generate a high enough storm count to win with the cards you got from digging with Ad Nauseam , or get a Past in Flames that you can use to recast everything. Getting mana for the Ad Nauseam win is almost essential because of all the cards you are casting.

  2. The Past in Flames win is sometimes more reliable, but can be harder to pull off. this also involves ramping up mana using Dark Ritual Cabal Ritual or Lotus Petal, but now you can also use Lion's Eye Diamond to your advantage. Cast an Infernal Tutor and while holding priority, crack the Lion's Eye Diamond and bam, instant Demonic Tutor. Search up a Past in Flames then cast it for its flashback cost. Now you can start casting all those cards that got you here all over again, and send your storm count through the roof. Then cast the Infernal Tutor again, and search up your win condition, Tendrils of Agony.

The cards: Brainstorm Ponder Preordain Gitaxian Probe are there to help you dig for the cards you need in both the Ad Nauseam win, and the Past in Flames win.

The cards: Cabal Therapy Thoughtseize Duress are there as protection from counterspells and other cards that would stop you from going off.
