Two cards I've wanted to build a deck around from the first moment I saw them were The Locust God and Dragonshift. Now with this deck I get to, hopefully, see them both in action.

I started with the idea to make this a spellslinger deck with burns, counters, and wheel effects. I ended up having to cut almost all of the burn out.

As it is, this deck aims to produce insect tokens with the commander and a ton of wheel effects. Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors should provide plenty of burn if the commander is out and the wheel keeps turning.
