Maybeboard


A Zurgo voltron deck with lots of wrath-type spells to close the game. Lots of mana rocks to ramp, so if Zurgo quickly becomes a target, it won't take long for him to come back. Some stax effects that can help stall opponents once I get Zurgo out. Lots of control/removal elements that will hopefully keep me alive until I can win.

Wincons are the obvious - equip Zurgo, give him doublestrike, hit hard, and win. Destroying all the things with Jokulhaups when Zurgo is out is usually game.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope followed by wrath is a secondary win condition, or at least buy me some time.

Overall, this deck shines in 1v1, and has pulled some amazing wins in multiplayer. I'm looking for suggestions for alternate ways to close the game if it starts to get grindy.
