Combos

Pathbreaker Ibex + Volrath, the Shapestealer : Gives Volrath 21+ power when both attack, which can be lethal if unblocked.

Volrath, the Shapestealer + Nacatl War-Pride: Can make a large number of 7/5 attackers instead of 3/3 attackers. This would also let the 3/3 attackers get through unblocked if Nacatl War-Pride attacks too.

Volrath, the Shapestealer + Cephalid Constable: Can just nuke 7 permanents from someone's board, though you need to get a +1/+1 counter on it first (Volrath's -1/-1 counter will kill it).

Volrath, the Shapestealer + Cold-Eyed Selkie: If this hits it's just a draw 7, though again, it will need a +1/+1 counter not a -1/-1 counter.

Volrath, the Shapestealer + Hornet Nest: OMG BEES! Just declare Volrath attacking first, then after blockers are declared, you can turn him into a Hornet Nest, to generate free bees.

Glen Elendra Archmage + Master Biomancer : Counter any non-creature spells for {U} each. Master Biomancer always ensures no -1/-1 persist counters stick around.

Glen Elendra Archmage + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed : Counter any non-creature spells for {U} each. Mikaeus the Unhallowed's undying always ensures you can persist or undie, depending on the last counter it had on it.

Volrath, the Shapestealer + Phantom Nantuko: Volrath can become immune to damage, since preventing the damage isn't contingent on having a +1/+1 counter on Volrath, and it will still be a 7/5 either way. Also works with Predator Ooze obviously, but with less style points.
