I have become inspired by more recent black control cards (Lifebane Zombie, Thoughtseize, etc.) to build one myself. I like the idea of looking at their hands and searching through their library (Surgical Extraction, Extirpate, etc.) so I can get a feel of what their deck is like and how to play against them while removing the cards they need most. I don't know many cards earlier than Innistrad so card suggestions would be great! I am thinking about using creatures for board control and spells to prevent them from playing things through discard and such. I also don't know how modern can be played. I assume and have heard that it is fast so I would try to make this deck as fast as possible so I can hinder my opponent before they can do anything drastic. Any suggestions would be a great help!!
