Maybeboard

Creature (1)

Updating an old deck of mine for Tarkir

What's in the deck?

Flamespeaker Adept and Spellheart Chimera are the main win cons of this deck.

Aqueous Form provides evasion whileTitan's Strength can deal a burst of lethal damage. Use Dissolve and Negate to control the board. Voyage's End disrupts your opponent's tempo and removes any threats that might slip by. Magma Jet can take out creatures or provide some burn damage.

Lastly, Steam Augury and Tormenting Voice are good for drawing while dumping instant and sorcery spells into your graveyard.

What might you change about this deck?

Aqueous Form is a great evasion card and always buffs Flamespeaker Adept, but it might not be necessary. Additionally, it is not an instant or sorcery and does not help Spellheart Chimera. Taigam's Scheming or Anticipate will work just as well in this deck.

Tormenting Voice is not the greatest draw spell, but it helps free your hand of useless lands or spells in the late game.

Stymied Hopes or Disdainful Stroke may need to be brought in against control, while Lightning Strike or Wild Slash against aggressive decks.

Temple of Epiphany is perfect for this deck, but would jump the price up to $50. It's not really needed, but would make a great addition. The same can be said about Thassa, God of the Sea and Keranos, God of Storms
