Welcome to Sliver me Timbers! This is my first real attempt at and EDH deck (long time modern player). This deck uses Sliver Overlord as the commander utilizing both of his abilities. The main goal of this deck is to get to 5c mana while casting slivers along the way, and then cast Overlord. Once Overlord is on board we can use his first ability to tutor for slivers with abilities that we need/don't already have. Heartstone and Training Grounds helps to speed this up by reducing Overlords (and others) mana ability costs to make tutoring cheaper/faster. We can utilize Overlords secondary ability by casting Amoeboid Changeling (demonic tutor can help us find this) which when combined with Overlord will allow us to take control of opponents commander/creatures.

Lets break it down some more:

The first challenge with this deck will be getting to 5C mana. Our main manabase is composed of 10 fetches, 10 revised duals, & 10 beta basics. Sliver Hive, Ancient Ziggurat, Command Tower, Cavern of Souls, & Unclaimed Territory will help us cast any sliver we have. To furthur help us with this challenge we have cryptolith rite which will let all of our creatures tap for any colour of mana, we also employ manaweft and gemhide slivers which can turn all of our slivers into any colour of mana we need. In order to help us find these cards and the mana we require, we have a fair number of cards which will improve our draw ability. Treasure cruise is great as we are running 10 fetches and a handful of instants/sorceriess. Ponder, Opt, Rhystic, Serum, & brainstorm will also help us to achieve some card advantage.

As for removal/counters Cyclonic rift is a great late game wipe, mana leak, bolt, path, swords will also help at any time. Mana echoes, Gateway, Bidding, & Descendant's path will help us get and keep many slivers on the board as quickly as we can. If the opponent has employed some life gain, we can tutor for Triumph of the hordes which can give us an easy alternate win condition.

This deck keeps all 5c slivers in the deck as it is great to be able to tutor them with Overlord to get us valuable abilities such as cascade, tokens, buffs, & indestructable. This also gives us the option to change our commander if we do get bored of playing Overlord.

Another interesting combo we can utilize is infinite mana leading to infinite slivers using a combo with Sliver Queen and Mana Echoes.

This deck is still a work in progress, I am treating removal cards and draw cards as flex spots for the time being as I need to find a correct balance for them and it gives me the ability to swap them out with cards that may better suit the deck. Lightning bolt is in as it is my favourite card and can help in some tough spots.
