Ordinary Boros EDH decks tend to gravitate towards Equipment. This is not an ordinary Boros deck.

I ran into some problems, trying to build an R/W aggro EDH deck in the past - either I had one big creature, often with double strike, that got chumped forever, or I got some small dudes that were just that - small. Anax and Cymede's heroic trigger remedies both issues: trample for Mr. Big Doubleguy, +1/+1 for the token swarm.

Of course, that requires to run spells that can actually target my commander. The selection provided in the list below is what I currently consider to be the best options.

While this deck is quite capable of killing through regular aggro, since it boosts its army by casting stuff on the general, it also has the option of going Voltron with it and win via commander damage. Can also happen at the same time, wiping out two opponents at the same time, which capacity get it some recpect in an otherwise aggro-unfriendly multiplayer environment.

TL, DR: Boros with trample is scary =)
