White weenies seem to be a pretty aggressive deck post rotation, and if goblin chainwhirler sees a dip in play then it might be able to get under most everything else.

Sunhome Stalwart is a concession to Goblin Chainwhirler existing, so I’m playing it rather than Adanto Vanguard in the main. The sideboard is somewhat transformative, hoping to become more of a midrange deck that can go over red decks by bringing in removal, shield mares, big angels and another land to make it all possible. Venerated Loxodon also works well against goblin chainwhirler, and we are going wide to ascend early anyways so it naturally fits. Remorseful cleric is to combat graveyard decks that may otherwise be unchecked with scavenger grounds rotating out and all the new golgari support coming in. Mentor of the Meek comes in against control to refill our tank and keep the pressure on.
